If you are reading this, I presume you are looking for a house. Well, you stumbled on the right realtor. I am gonna tell you why. From the beginning of our Michigan home search, I left messages for realtor after realtor and had questions about properties, and no one wanted to call me, text me or email me back to give me more information about the houses I was interested in. If you are out of state, for some reason realtors in the area won’t take you seriously. Brittani was different. She called me back immediately. She gave a me a bunch of detailed information that answered our questions and even more. She spent quite a while on the phone asking what I was after and telling me about her “methods” for checking out houses. I knew right away, I found the right realtor for our search. When we booked our trip to Michigan, Brittani was on her one family vacation for the year. And pesky old me insisted she not pawn me off on any other realtor, even though I had never met her. So she had other realtors meet us which she coordinated all of our showings for a week in Michigan and Indiana for us with realtors -while on vacation. I sound like a real Karen. The day she got back she took us to see some homes for a day, and it was night and day from any other tours of houses I have ever been on in my life. She is moving stuff off shelves to check all the crawl spaces, pointing out things in nooks and crannies which I didn’t see, showing us slight slopes in the floor, pointing to a tiny hole outside that yellow jackets are invading. Anything you can imagine that will make a house super expensive and miserable AFTER you bought it, that’s what she looks for. I was really bummed with a couple houses I had my heart set on because she could see the house was going to be fraught with problems for us, even as a fixer upper. But in the long run, we ended up with a house that even the inspector said was one of the most well maintained homes he’d ever seen. You can get yourself a realtor with a great personality, one who shows you stuff at the top of your budget, one who lets you walk through mostly by yourself to decide if the house is for you, or you can get the masterclass in what NOT to buy with Brittani Purman amd in the end, I know which is better. Last, we learned that not all people you work with have integrity. A lot of realtors just want you to buy the home, they have practices that are sketchy, and you will see the opposite of that with Brittani. I feel like we won the lottery with this woman. I can’t say enough how glad I am that I went with my gut after our first conversation and stuck with Brittani. She has also stayed in contact (even after I was a big pain in the backside) and helped us learn our way around town and made recommendations from where to find furniture to where to eat. Oh, I didn’t even mention that we bought the house that she toured virtually amd It was such a long video tour that we felt like we had been here several times in person. Her tours are THOROUGH. After all this, I will not buy another property anywhere on earth if Brittani hasn’t walked through it first. If I win the lottery amd decide to buy something in France, I am getting her a ticket and making sure she comes and looks it over for me first. I am 100% serious. If she can’t travel to where I want to buy a house, I won’t buy a house there. Last but not least, she also has a finance guy that got us better rates than anyone else. Jeromy does magic. So, anyway, I hope this helped you and if there were ten stars I could give her, Brittani goes all the way up to 11!!! Below are photos from our best Christmas ever in our new home!
